My name is Robert Freeze – I often go by Rob and have been known to go by Bob, Bert, Bobert and Freezer.  Personally I like Rob it’s short and to the point but I really don’t mind the others and often welcome them, just don’t call me Robby or Bobby – that’s not me.  Other than that I am a good natured father of 5, yes 5, who loves the outdoors, is a geek, who loves science and who currently feels social media is changing the world.  This site along with my other blogs are my attempts to be part of that world.

Currently I am also an unemployed semiconductor professional looking for work.  I am looking first in all the areas I have experience in, semiconductor process engineering, process integration, defect inspection, and yield enhancement.  I am well qualified in all these areas.  I am also seriously interested in social media and opportunities in sharing the great opportunities there are out there.  I have some past experience in this area working as a graphic designer and marketer in the past and now through my blogs, Twitter, Friend Feed, and other social media I am exploring the great possibilities Web 2.0 has to offer.  Oh, and I am totally loving it, web 2.0 that is.
